Different Way to Gain Your CNA Certification
There are various modes for obtaining a CNA certification such as traditional classroom courses, on-line courses, and crash courses.
- The traditional classroom courses comprises of 90 hours of classes that is further categorized into 45 hours of theoretical classes and 45 hours of practical session in which you are given the basic knowledge of the domain and you have to work under a registered nurse (RN) or a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in order to be familiar with the situation in the hospitals and deal with the patients.
- Another is the on-line course which comprises of 4-6 weeks in which you will be provided with a personal login ID and password and you can download the study materials and prepare for CNA exams. There is a provision for video conferencing in which you can directly clear your doubts with the concerned person.
- Next is the CNA crash course, as it is helpful for those who want to enter in this field quickly. This crash course comprises of 2 weeks.
There are various medical organizations that offer free CNA courses(see..) too for those who cannot afford this course, but are interested in entering this field. It is strongly recommended by experts to choose CNA certification for those who have the urge to enter the field of nursing and health care.
